In order to commemorate the International Women’s Day and actively respond to the appeal of Female Lawyer Working Committee and Publicity Working Committee of Sichuan Province Lawyers Association, Lawyer Qiong Yu and Lawyer Xiaorong Yan, partners of Tahota • Chengdu, led a team to launch nearly 3 hours of free legal consulting activity in Gulou Shijia Square upon the International Women’s Day thanks to active organizing of Party branch and Administration Department of the law firm and vigorous support of Gulou Nanjie Community of Taishenglu Sub-district Office. Full-time lawyers Yi He, Xianghua Fan, Qian Jiang, Xiaoli Pan and Xiaoying Deng as well as assistant lawyers Mi Wang and Feng Cheng participated in this activity.

The lawyers from Tahota as mentioned above received over 30 people on the spot and the consulting objects involved commodity house transaction disputes, labor and personnel, contract disputes, work-related injury compensation, marriage and family as well as other social livelihood issues. During the activity, lawyers made detailed consulting registration to facilitate tracking services.

This activity was highly emphasized by leaders of Gulou Nanjie Community. Leaders including Superintendent Zuo and Director He made personal appearance and thanked them on behalf of the citizens and they also expected that Tahota would launch similar activities more in the future in order to further popularize people’s legal knowledge, solve legal problems encountered by them and make bigger contributions to harmonious society and families.
